A strategic partnership is more than a collaboration—it is a shared commitment to creating meaningful and lasting social change. On 25th April 2026, Hi 5 Youth Foundation built its new court at Sevalaya, Tamil Nadu with the support of BookMyShow. With this development, Hi 5 has also refurbished and upgraded its existing court at the center, strengthening its infrastructure.Sevalaya now proudly has two basketball courts, creating more opportunities for children to train.
These new and enhanced facilities create greater access to quality basketball training and gameplay opportunities for 247 students from Standards III to XII. By providing a safe and inspiring space to learn, play, and grow, the initiative strengthens our vision of pioneering grassroots basketball in India as a powerful tool for youth development and social transformation.
The event took place on April 25th and was graced by Mr. Vasudevan Baskaran, Arjuna Awardee, Padma Shri Awardee, and Captain of the 1980 Olympic Gold-winning Indian Hockey Team, who attended as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. A Arul Venkatesh, Joint Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Basketball Federation and Secretary of the Tiruvallur District Basketball Federation, and Mr. A V Rajkumar, Treasurer of the Tiruvallur District Basketball Federation, also attended the event.
This initiative reflects Hi 5 Youth Foundation’s mission to empower underprivileged children through world-class basketball training and holistic development. By working closely with communities, educational institutions, and committed partners, we continue to create pathways for children to build brighter futures and become confident contributors to society.
