Delivering 300 hours of structured training through the Hope Thru Hoop basketball excellence program requires a commitment that extends beyond the regular academic calendar. Summer Camp plays a vital role in this effort by ensuring children continue learning, training, and developing during the vacation period.

The month-long program was successfully conducted across six states—Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Coordinating a programme of this scale during vacation periods required extensive planning and collaboration among coaches, school administrations, operational teams, and program partners to ensure uninterrupted training across locations.

With the invaluable support of our program partners, these camps brought together more than 1600+ children who participated in the camp across U-12, U-14, and U-18 categories. Throughout the programme, each child completed over 90 hours of intensive training designed to strengthen technical skills, game understanding, teamwork, discipline, and physical conditioning.

From managing the logistics, to ensuring every child received the utmost attention and safety during their month-long program, Hi 5 managed to smoothly deliver it all bearing all challenges!

Beyond basketball, this Summer Camp reflected on Hi 5’s commitment to holistic development. In- house content for English Communication classes were integrated into the curriculum, helping children build confidence, improve communication skills, and develop self-esteem both on and off the court.

These camps enabled coaches to assess player development while giving participants valuable game experience before the start of the new academic year.
