The summer of 2026 was filled with learning, dedication, and enthusiasm as Pathways to Success successfully conducted online English communication classes for students from Grades 5 to 10. The summer camp was held across four centers and catered to nearly 260 students from BMC schools. Despite the intense summer heat, students attended the sessions with remarkable energy and commitment, reflecting their eagerness to learn and improve their communication skills.

The primary objective of these sessions was to strengthen students’ English communication through practical and engaging activities. Highlights of the classes included encouraging reading habits, practicing form filling, and learning useful English basketball terminology that students could apply in their daily practice and conversations. These activities helped students connect classroom learning with real-life situations, making the learning process more meaningful and enjoyable.

One of the most special aspects of this summer camp was the use of in-house content. Understanding the needs, challenges, and learning levels of the students, the team carefully designed content that related closely to their daily lives and experiences. By identifying the specific areas where students required support, the team created lessons and activities that were interactive, practical, and easy to understand.

The dedication of the managers was truly inspiring throughout the summer camp. Their commitment was evident in the way they travelled from one center to another to ensure the smooth conduct of sessions and provide continuous support to students. Their hard work and passion played a significant role in the success of the program. The noticeable growth in students’ participation, confidence, and communication skills clearly reflected the efforts of the entire team.

Another important highlight of the summer camp was the participation of interns from the First Year Political Science Department of the University of Mumbai. The interns gained valuable first-hand experience working at the grassroots level and interacting directly with students. This opportunity helped them better understand community engagement and the importance of educational outreach.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our managers — Pramila, Rukhsar, and Genevieve — for making the Summer Camp a successful and memorable event. Their dedication, teamwork, and tireless efforts created a positive learning environment that inspired every student to participate, learn, and grow.

“ I am Shireen, and I’m pursuing Master’s in Mumbai University, and I was assigned to the Motilal Center by Hi 5 Youth Foundation, and my overall experience was very great. There were some challenges in conducting classes. We didn’t get the permission earlier, and we had to take the classes in the store room, but I really enjoyed it. The kids were good, but when you get them comfortable, they are very much friendly, and overall very nice. So there are new things in this internship, like planning the things, explaining to the kids, and the most important thing is the skill of handling people. Overall, a wonderful experience I got, and  I will recommend this foundation to all my friends who are want to get their internship”
