Hi 5 Youth Foundation recently conducted a high-intensity Level 1 communication skills training at its headquarters, marking an important step in the professional development of its coaching staff.
The program was designed to strengthen foundational communication skills, enabling coaches to understand simple spoken and written messages, follow basic instructions, and communicate effectively using familiar vocabulary. The training focused on building confidence and reinforcing the role of communication in effective coaching and leadership.
A group of 10 coaches participated in the six-day program, with six hours of training conducted each day. The curriculum was specifically tailored for Level 1 coaches, ensuring a structured and practical approach to developing essential communication skills.
Throughout the training, coaches demonstrated strong commitment to their own growth, recognising that confident and professional communication plays a key role in leading teams effectively.
To celebrate their dedication and discipline, certificates were awarded to participants for 100% attendance. Best Performer Awards were presented to Akshay Dhinda and Ragini Kewat in recognition of their exceptional engagement and progress during the program.
This training reflects Hi 5’s continued focus on strengthening coaching capacity by building both technical and professional skills.
